Updated 2025 World Championship Chili Cook-off Official Schedule Posted

The International Chili Society (ICS) has released an UPDATED tournament schedule for the 2025 World Championship Chili Cook-Off (WCCC), taking place October 16–19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center in Indianapolis.

Here’s a quick look at the daily highlights:

• Thursday, October 16:

  • Grand Slam competition and judging

  • CCJ Judge Training Class

• Friday, October 17:

  • Last Chance Qualifiers: Homestyle, Chili Verde, Veggie, and Traditional Red

  • Judging for all Last Chance divisions

• Saturday, October 18:

  • Competition Day for Homestyle & Verde

  • Judging and evening WCCC Awards Ceremony

• Sunday, October 19:

  • Competition Day for Traditional Red & Veggie

  • WCCC Youth Division competition

  • Judging and evening WCCC Awards Presentation

Specifically, the time windows for the Traditional Red category and the Vegetarian category have been switched on Sunday, October 19th. The Traditional Red category will now start at 9 AM EST and the Vegetarian category will start at 11 AM EST; please plan accordingly.
